The Little Sisters of the Poor in Sawantwadi were invited to NAVSARNI (Sindhudurg Diocesan Pastoral Centre) for the 30th Annual General Body meeting of the Catholic Urban Co-Operative Credit Bank. They presented the Little Sisters with a Bouquet of Flowers, a Shawl, Coconut, a Certificate of Appreciation for their service to the Elderly poor in the Diocese, and Rs. 25,000 in cash for Hot water Geysers. Additionally, they screened the video "Joy of Serving," which the Little Sisters had provided for the occasion. They commended the apostolate, which resonated with all attendees. A spontaneous collection among themselves raised Rs. 30,000, much to the surprise of the Little Sisters. They expressed their gratitude and encouraged them to continue supporting them.
