"Making a Difference: How Morgan Stanley Volunteers are Impacting Lives at the Little Sisters of the Poor in Mumbai"

On the 21st of June 2024, a team of 40 volunteers from MORGAN STANELY COMPANY, together with 40 students from Akansha Foundation Mumbai Public School, visited the Elderly to provide entertainment under the theme of "Give Back." The event commenced at 2:30 p.m. with introductions from both groups. They generously contributed a 300-liter "De freezer," 2 wheelchairs, and some essential supplies.

The entertainment segment was followed by games and a wellness awareness session, all meticulously organized to uplift the spirits of the residents. The group was impressed by the enthusiastic participation of the elderly in singing and dancing activities. Witnessing both the young and the old dancing together was a heartwarming sight. As the event concluded, Mr. Shekar, the company's manager, delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Mickey, a resident, expressed gratitude, as did a Little Sister, appreciating the organization's efforts.
