The vehicle stopped at the main gate and the Residents dressed in their best of the finest silks, jewels and outfit, were present there, in the early darkness of the night. After Mother General and Mother Assistant had embraced all the Little Sisters, both of them were led in procession by the Men Staff in traditional Kannadiga’s attire with a montage of printed photos on a large cloth material.
Then 3 Ladies carried the Indian, Spanish and French flags, 4th one carried the Jubilee year logo banner. They were followed by the music band of the Home in their uniform, and two men with umbrellas escorted them to the Residents dining hall.
Before entering, one of the Residents was proud to shake hands with Mother General and she recognised him, and he showed the photo that was taken with her in 2017. So, Mother posed with him for a photo as he held the old one on his chest, saying that he will have two photos to show to her the next time she will visit the Home.

There were colourful rangolis and floral decorations at the entrance and 3 ladies welcomed them with ‘chandan’ and ‘kalkand’ (crystal sugar), Aarathi and rose water.

Then in the dining room, the semi-valid Residents and those in wheel-chairs waved their little red hearts that they were holding with each letter of ‘Soyez les bienvenues’ on it while some did actions for the welcome song.

The volunteer who had designed the montage presented a bouquet of flowers and expressed his thanks and appreciation for our Charism.
The valid Residents and the Employees, performed two dances.

Then an aspirant sang a a song.

Mother General said a few words of thanks to all.

On 2nd March, after the Eucharist, all were gathered near the garden where Mother General and Mother Assistant planted trees.
The 4 candidates completed the watering of the new plants.

After planting the trees, Mother General and Mother Assistant Marie Rose passed in the Dining Rooms to distribute gifts to the Residents. Each one of them in turn offered a hand-made flower to Mother.

On 3rd March at 3.30 pm in front of the reception, the Residents and the Employees bid ‘fare-well’ to Mother General and Mother Assistant Marie Rose with a large basket of hand-made flowers and on behalf of all at Home a Resident gave a note of thanks and Fr. David, Resident Priest too expressed his joy and thanks.
